An Introduction to Joseph Campbell Through Video
Joseph John Campbell (March 26, 1904 – October 30, 1987) was an American mythology professor, writer, and lecturer best known for his work in the fields of comparative mythology and comparative religion. While his work is vast and covers many aspects of the human experience, his philosophy can be summed up in the phrase he himself coined: "Follow Your Bliss". Millions know Campbell from the PBS series 'The Power of Myth'. What is important about Campbell's works are the insights to the human psyche which are brought up nightly in the individual's dreams.
Campbell is a great primer for anyone interested in Jungian dream psychology.
